Elm Street Advisors Launches New CFO Practice with the Addition of James Clifford and Bob Loughran as Partners
Elm Street Advisors today announced that James Clifford and Bob Loughran have joined the firm as Partners leading a newly launched CFO practice, effective March 1, 2024.
James is an accounting and finance leader with nearly two decades of experience spanning technical accounting, operational finance, and public company reporting. He has served clients at PwC and held public company controllership roles, advising on complex accounting matters, strengthening reporting and controls, and supporting companies preparing to go public.
Bob is a CPA and seasoned finance executive with more than 30 years of experience across public accounting and publicly reporting companies. He brings deep expertise in US GAAP and SEC reporting, along with significant experience in M&A, financings, restructuring, and controls. Most recently he served as CFO of Greenidge Generation, overseeing its IPO via reverse merger. Prior to Greenidge, Bob sat as the Corporate Controller at Tronox Holdings, a global leader in minerals and chemicals, where he led finance integration during a large-scale cross-border acquisition. He met Jim during his 14 year service at Avon Products in roles spanning SEC reporting, compliance (including FCPA remediation), shared services, global tax, and investor relations. He began his career at Pricewaterhouse LLP.

James will be running the CFO practice and together they will support clients on transaction readiness, finance transformation, public company standards, and value creation initiatives. The teams is also available to serve in an interim capacity to bolster short-term needs in finance organizations.
