Elm Street Advisors Welcomes Michael Salmon as Partner
Elm Street Advisors today announced that Michael Salmon has joined the firm as a Partner, effective August 16, 2023.
Michael is a seasoned retail operator with more than 25 years of experience driving revenue growth, operational scale, and omnichannel transformation for leading brands including Torrid, J.Crew, Madewell, and Gap. He brings to Elm Street Advisors deep expertice in merchandising planning, allocation, and assortment and lifecycle planning.
Most recently, Michael served as Chief Operating Officer of Torrid during both its private and public stages. Prior to Torrid, he spent more than a decade with J.Crew, across Factory and the J.Crew brand, and was involved in the early stages of the Madewell brand. Earlier in his career, he spent 10 years at Gap in planning and allocation roles.

At Elm Street Advisors, Michael will lead efforts around merchandising architecture, inventory optimization, profitability improvement, and end-to-end operational design.
